gamescom 2026: Supporting Four Long-Standing Clients in Cologne
From August 26 to 30, 2026, VERANTEC was on site at gamescom and gamescom developer in Cologne, supporting four long-standing clients. The focus was on LED technology, rigging, media technology and on-site technical support.
Our projects included:
- Media technology support for LogisticAct at gamescom developer in the Confex Center
- Technical production of the stage programme for Messebau Bodensee at the JBL booth
- An 8 × 5-metre LED wall for our client Advercons at the ADAC booth
- A flown LED wall for our partner RocDesign at the HOLY booth
The Project at a Glance
Project: gamescom 2026 – Trade Show Technology
Location: Cologne, Germany
Dates: August 26–30, 2026
Role: Technical service provider for media technology and rigging
Services: LED technology, content playback and on-site technical support, as well as the installation of complex rigging systems
LogisticAct for NoesisGUI at the gamescom developer Conference
On behalf of LogisticAct GmbH, we installed a 10 × 3-metre Aluvision Hi-LED Tile 55 LED wall with a 1.9 mm pixel pitch for NoesisGUI at the Confex Center.
40 Square Metres of LED Technology for ADAC
For Advercons, we installed an 8 × 5-metre LED wall using Aluvision modules with a 2.5 mm pixel pitch at the ADAC exhibition booth.
The LED wall was controlled using a NovaStar MX30, with AVP LEGION handling content playback. In addition to ADAC promotional videos, three DTM races were shown on the LED wall each day.
Flown and Redundant: LED Technology for HOLY
For RocDesign, we installed a flown 1 × 5-metre LED wall with a 2.5 mm pixel pitch at the HOLY booth.
The wall was controlled using a NovaStar MX40. The system featured a redundant configuration, allowing a secondary signal path to take over automatically in the event of a failure. HOLY’s promotional videos were played continuously in an automated loop.
Technical Support for Messebau Bodensee at the JBL Booth
For Messebau Bodensee, VERANTEC provided comprehensive technical support for the approximately 190-square-metre JBL booth – covering truss and rigging, sound technology, booth lighting, LED technology and the stage programme.
The setup featured a 5 × 3-metre concave Aluvision Hi-LED wall with a 1.9 mm pixel pitch. An Analog Way Aquilon was used for video processing, supported by a Pixera media server.
The audio setup, featuring an Allen & Heath Avantis Solo along with Shure Axient and PSM systems, was designed to fit the limited control area. The stage programme featured performances and appearances by Fokus Clan, Fibii, Clix and Eligella, among others.
Four Projects. One Technical Team.
Our technicians supported the systems on site throughout the trade show, ensuring reliable operation and direct coordination whenever adjustments were required.
The projects ranged from large-format LED displays and redundant signal paths to comprehensive technical support for an entire stage programme.
The Result
Four long-standing clients, different setups and technical solutions tailored to the specific requirements of each project.
We would like to thank all our clients for their continued trust and look forward to many more successful projects together.
